Quick fixes for the most common things people run into.
Form Building
Can't find a field type you need?
FormBharat supports text, email, phone (with OTP verification), long text, dropdown, radio, checkbox, file upload, image, section breaks, headings, and payment fields. If you need something else, contact us - most new field types come from real usage requests.
Logo won't upload?
Logo uploads are capped at 2MB and must be an image file (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, or SVG). Compress the image or convert the format and try again.
File upload field rejecting a file?
File upload fields accept files up to 25MB by default - you can set a lower limit per field in the builder. If a respondent's file is being rejected, check the field's configured size limit and accepted file types.
Collecting Responses
Form not accepting new submissions?
Check your form's Settings for two things that silently close a form: a response limit that's been reached, and open/close dates that put the form outside its active window right now.
Respondent says they didn't get a phone verification code?
This usually resolves within a couple of minutes. If it doesn't, ask them to double check the number they entered and try again - if it persists, contact us.
Payments on forms?
Payment collection isn't available yet, even though a Payment field type exists in the builder for early setup. We'll announce when it's ready.
Notifications & Integrations
Not getting email notifications?
Notifications are on by default to your account email. Check spam and promotions folders first, then use Send Test Email in your form's Settings to confirm delivery. See Email Notifications.
Webhook not firing, or firing twice?
FormBharat signs every webhook payload with an X-Webhook-Signature header and retries once if the first delivery attempt fails, so a slow endpoint may legitimately receive two attempts. Confirm your endpoint returns a 2xx status, then click "View Logs" in your form's Settings to see recent webhook deliveries.
WhatsApp notifications for new responses?
Sharing forms via WhatsApp is fully supported today. Automatic WhatsApp notifications when a form gets a new response are on the roadmap but not live yet - use email notifications or Google Sheets sync in the meantime.
