Email Notifications

3 min readLast updated August 8, 2026

Get notified by email every time someone submits your form - no need to keep checking the dashboard.

How It Works

Email notifications are on by default. As soon as you create a form, submissions are sent to your account email automatically - no setup required.

Customizing Recipients

Want notifications to go to a teammate, a shared inbox, or several people at once?

  1. 1Open your form's Settings
  2. 2Find "Email Notifications"
  3. 3Toggle it on if it isn't already
  4. 4Enter recipient emails, comma-separated, in Recipients
  5. 5Click "Send Test Email" to confirm it's working
  6. 6Save

Once you've added recipients, notifications go to that list instead of just your account email.

What's in the Email

Each notification includes:

  • The form title
  • A response count badge
  • A table with every field the respondent filled in
  • A "View all responses" button linking straight to your Responses page

Turning Notifications Off

If you'd rather not get an email per submission - high-volume forms, for example - toggle Email Notifications off in Settings. You can still check responses any time from your dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • Not receiving emails? Check spam and promotions folders first, then use Send Test Email in Settings to confirm delivery
  • Wrong people getting notified? Double check the Recipients field - it replaces the default (your account email) once set
