Understanding Form Analytics

4 min readLast updated August 8, 2026

Every form comes with a built-in analytics view so you can see how it's performing without leaving FormBharat.

Where to Find It

  1. 1Go to My Forms
  2. 2Open the form's Responses page
  3. 3Click "Analytics"

What You'll See

Overview Cards

  • Total Responses - how many submissions the form has received
  • Response Rate - responses as a percentage of form views
  • Avg. Time - average time respondents took to complete the form
  • Form Fields - how many fields the form has

Responses Over Time

A bar chart of daily response counts for the last 30 days, so you can spot spikes - a WhatsApp share landing, a campaign going out - at a glance.

Field-by-Field Analysis

For every field, you get:

  • Number of responses that filled it in
  • Number of unique values
  • Completion rate
  • Field type

For dropdown, radio, and checkbox fields, you also get a Top Answers breakdown - the 5 most common values, so you know which options respondents actually pick.

What Analytics Doesn't Cover Yet

  • Step-by-step drop-off for multi-step forms
  • Device or browser breakdowns
  • Traffic source data

If you need any of these today, export your responses and analyze them in a spreadsheet - see Exporting Response Data.

Tips

  • Response Rate is most accurate once your form has real traffic, not just link previews
  • Use Top Answers on your qualifying questions to spot patterns before reading individual responses
  • Check back after a WhatsApp share or campaign to see the spike in the 30-day chart
